An amazing and a tangy instantly made Podi with the Drumstick Leaves or Munagaku in Telugu or Saijan ke Patte in Urdu that are full of Vitamins, Calcium and Iron. It helps Heart function better and enlivens hair and skin. Packed with so much of natural goodness, these Leaves are a great boon. This Podi made with them is a perfect accompaniment to Dosas, Idlis, Puris and even plain boiled Rice. You can heat a tablespoon of this podi with an equal quantity of Ghee or Clarified Butter and serve it with a steaming hot plate of Rice.

Drumstick Leaves Podi or Powder is an incredible South Indian style Condiment relished with a variety of dishes. It's absolutely an excellent source of Calcium. These Leaves are rich in Vitamins and Minerals. The best part is that the Podi or Powder can be stored and relished for a long time. The fresh Leaves are not available always unless you have a tree in your backyard. Therefore this is the best way to store it. Drying these Drumstick Leaves is also a great idea of storing them for a long time.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
