Take a grinder jar add poppy seeds, green chilies, cashew, grind them with little water into a smooth paste. Poppy seeds paste is ready.

Cut eggs into the half. Heat oil in a kadai, place the eggs pieces and fry them lightly, take out in a plate, keep aside.

Same kadai add red chilli, kalonji, saute few seconds then add sliced onion and fry them golden brown. Now add poppy paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes.

Now add hot water and cook some times. Once gravy becomes thick then add fried egg pieces and cook another 1 -2 minutes, turn off the flame. Egg curry is ready.

Egg curry with poppy seeds is ready to serve.
