Ready all the ingredients. In an iron kadhai dry roast the seeds on slow gas for 1 minute

Keep the seeds aside and cool them. Grease a silicon mat with 1/4 tsp ghee. Take ghee in the iron kadhai and add in the jaggery.

Mix and cook by stirring continuously on slow gas. (Check if done, by taking little meled jaggery in a plate, cool and check if crumbly. If it crumbles with a cracking sound and is not sticky it's done). Now add in the soonth powder and mix.

Add in the salt and soda. It will get light in colour. Mix and switch off gas. Transfer to the greased silicon mat. Sprinkle roasted seeds.

After 2 minutes, gives cuts. Cool completely.

Separate the pieces and serve 1 piece every winter morning to your dear and near ones. And keep the winter cough at bay.
