Craving Korean-style fried chicken, it's delicious on its own or served with rice as a side dish. It's also great with tteokbokki if you like.

Cut the chicken fillet to your liking; I cut it into 3/4-inch cubes for popcorn style. Don't cut too small, as they will shrink when fried.

Marinate with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well. Let it sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the fridge.

While waiting for the chicken to marinate, prepare the sauce ingredients. Mix everything together. Set aside.

Pour the lightly beaten egg over the marinated chicken.

Coat the chicken with the flour mixture.

Fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove and drain the oil.
*The oil should be hot first, then lower the heat before adding the chicken.

In another pan, sauté the chopped garlic until fragrant with a little oil.

Pour the prepared sauce from step 3 and a little butter.

Add the fried chicken. Sprinkle with roasted white sesame seeds. Mix well.

Serve on a plate, and top the chicken with sliced green onions.
