Ingredients

  • 3 cupsFlour
  • 4 tspBaking powder
  • 1 1/2 cupsGranulated sugar
  • Butter 2 tbsp melted
  • 4Eggs
  • 4 tbspCold water
  • 2 tspVanilla extract
  • Dates 16 oz chopped
  • 1 cupWalnuts ground

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350 F.

    Grease a jelly roll pan.

    Sift flour and baking powder together.

    Cream butter and sugar until combined.(It will be crumbly).

    Add in eggs, water and extract and beat well.

    Add in flour and mix till combined.

    Fold in dates and walnuts.

    Pour batter in pan.

    Bake for 20-25 minutes or till done.

    Cool and cut into squares.
