Ingredients

  • 1 cupwhite sesame seeds - til
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1/2 tspghee
  • 1/4 tspcardamom powder (optional)
  • 1 tspoil
  • 1/2 tspchopped fresh rose petals
  • 1/2 tspgrated pistachios

10 minutes
  1. 1

    First of all, keep ready rolling pin and silicon mat or platform oil greased. Now take a pan, add white til, and roast on a low flame. Stir constantly to avoid burning. When turns light skin color, transfer in a plate.

    Add sugar in the same pan. Keep gas flame low. Sugar starts melting. Now stir constantly to avoid lumps and maintain sugar caramelized in even color.

    Take water in a cup. Drop sugar syrup drops into water. Check it breaks with a strong sound without sticking, then it is ready to add til.

    Add sesame seeds, cardamom powder, and ghee in it. Mix well. It becomes like a soft dough. Turn off gas.

    Quickly transfer on oil greased mat. With the help of a mat, make a round shape. Sprinkle rose petals and pistachios. Roll it with the help of a rolling pin. Roll it into a thin round like papad.

    Keep aside for a few minutes to set. Til papad ot til patyi is ready. Enjoy...

At the age of 18, I got married to a huge joint family and started my new journey. My family loves my dishes and appreciates me. Especially my husband and my son. So, day by day, I improved myself, and today, cooking is my hobby, my passion. My husband, Mr. Kamal Sampat always supports and motivates me.
