Ingredients

20 minutes
3 servings
  • 1 cupMillet flour
  • 1/4 tablespoonsajmo(crused by hand)
  • 1/2 tablespoons turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tablespoons asafoetida
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoons smooth paste of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons ginger - chilli paste
  • 2 - 3 cloves finally chopped green garlic
  • 1/4 tablespoonsblack pepper powder
  • As needed oil
  • Ghee - for spreading
  • To serve :
  • Ghee, jaggery, roasted red chillies, curd and garlic chutney

Steps

  1. 1

    First, in a bowl, mix together finely chopped green chilies, crushed green garlic, ginger-green chili paste, crushed dry garlic paste, crushed ajmo, asafoetida, turmeric, salt to taste, and red chili powder. Mix well. Then add 1 cup of bajra flour, a little at a time, and mix well. After that, add a little water at a time and knead a smooth dough.

    Make equal-sized balls from the dough. Roll out one ball into a round shape, roast it on both sides on a pan, and then brush oil on both sides and roast again. (You can also roast it instead of cooking it.)

    And that's it... Your hot and spicy Bajra Rotlo is ready! Serve it hot and enjoy!
