Freeze leftovers in a freezer safe zipper bag or container for up to 3 months. Defrost in the refrigerator. Reheat over medium heat on the stovetop until it's bubbly and the ground beef reaches 165 °F.

Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  • 1 cupground beef
  • 1onion, diced
  • 1bell pepper, diced
  • 3 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp.olive oil
  • To taste, salt
  • 1 tsp.pepper powder
  • 1 tsp.paprika
  • 1 tsp.chilli powder
  • 1 cuppasta sauce
  • 1-2 cupswater
  • 1 cupmacaroni, uncooked

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat olive oil in a stockpot over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Add the onion, bell pepper and garlic and sauté till onion is soft.

  3. 3

    Add the ground beef, spices and cook till colour changes.

  4. 4

    Add the pasta sauce, water and macaroni. Give a stir, cover and cook till mac is tender, ground beef is cooked and liquid has evaporated.

  5. 5

    Serve hot garnished if parmesan cheese, if desired.
