Samosa is the most famous snack in India. Patti Samosa is especially popular for Chanadal Samosa in the auspicious month of Ramadan.
Steps

Soak chanadal in water for 4 hours. Drain it. And with a little water, steam it in pressure cooker till 3 whistles blows.

Take a pan, add oil, hing, ginger chilli paste. Add chopped onion and saute it.

Add steamed chanadal, and mix well. Add chopped cashews, raisins, salt, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon powder, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Mix well. Lastly, add chopped coriander.

Take a samosa sheet. Make fold as shown in pics. Fill chanadal stuffings, seal with maida paste. Make all samosa in the same way.

Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry all patties samosa in batches on a low to medium flame till turns crispy.

Ready to serve. Enjoy it with tomato ketchup and green chutney..
