Ingredients

  1. 1 packagepasta
  2. 1chicken breast, cut into pieces
  3. 3 clovesgarlic
  4. 4button mushrooms, sliced
  5. 3/4 cuplight cream (about 200 ml)
  6. 3 1/2 ozgrated cheese (about 100 grams)
  7. 1/2 teaspooncrushed red pepper
  8. 1/2 teaspoonoregano or thyme
  9. 1 tablespoonbutter
  10. 1little oil

  1. 1

    Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.

  2. 2

    Meanwhile, heat the oil and butter in a pot and cook the chicken for about 10 minutes until browned on both sides.

  3. 3

    Once the chicken is browned, remove it from the pot and add the mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms are wilted, about 5 minutes, then add the garlic and spices.

  4. 4

    Once the water from the mushrooms evaporates, add the cream and stir until it comes to a boil. Add the cheese and chicken, and stir to combine.

  5. 5

    Once the Alfredo sauce is ready, add the pasta to the sauce and mix well!
