Inspired by the traditional recipe of First Watch restaurant in Florida. With slight variation I created this yummy salad featuring juicy chicken breast, toasted pecans, avocado, tomatoes and carrots sprinkled with Cheddar cheese and drizzled with honey Dijon dressing. #march2026

Inspired by the traditional recipe of First Watch restaurant in Florida. With slight variation I created this yummy salad featuring juicy chicken breast, toasted pecans, avocado, tomatoes and carrots sprinkled with Cheddar cheese and drizzled with honey Dijon dressing. #march2026

In a little oil, fry chicken pieces until tender, sprinkle with seasoning cook for a further minute or two then set aside.

In a large bowl or serving plate mix up the salad, grated carrot, chopped tomatoes and roasted pecans. Add the chicken and sliced avocado.

Next we make the sweet mustard dressing. Whisk together the mustard, honey, vinegar and oil add salt and pepper.

Drizzle the dressing over chicken salad and sprinkle cheese on top. Enjoy.
