Vanilla panna cotta is a super quick dessert you can make the night before or about 5 hours before dinner, and you’re all set! It’s a recipe you have to try. Let me know what you think!

Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for 10-15 minutes.

In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over low heat until the cream is just about to boil, then remove from heat.

Once the gelatin has softened, gently lift it out without squeezing too much water out, and add it to the warm cream mixture. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth with no lumps. Pour the mixture into your molds or ramekins.

Place the filled molds in the refrigerator to set for at least 5 hours.

Once the panna cotta has set, briefly dip the molds in hot water, then invert onto a serving plate. Decorate or serve with Nutella or fruit gelée, and enjoy!
