Homemade Lamb Stock Recipe

Homemade stock is so easy, and you can create your own stock with anything you want! I made this stock using a bone from a leg of lamb, bones from a smoked duck, some onions, garlic cloves, bay leaves, and herbs. It might sound crazy, but it came out amazing and so satisfying! I’m definitely going to make some wonton soup or soup dumplings with it! Store it in jars and refrigerate for up to five days. Enjoy!

Steps
- 1
Chop the onion and place all the ingredients in a Dutch oven or large pot.
- 2
Add the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and slow-cook on low for 8 to 12 hours, or even longer for up to 24 hours for richer flavor.
- 3
Strain the stock and pour it into jars. Store in the fridge and use for noodle soup, wonton soup, soup dumplings, or any soup. Enjoy!
