A high-fiber, protein-rich dish made with a simple cooking method to keep it healthy and delicious, with balanced and ample nutrition.
Steps
- 1
Prepare the ingredients. Wash the scallions and garlic, then slice the scallions and mince the garlic.
- 2
Make the sauce by combining all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and mixing well. Set aside.
- 3
Pat the tofu dry with paper towels, then slice it.
- 4
Heat a nonstick skillet, add oil, and pan-fry the tofu slices until golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- 5
Rinse the shimeji mushrooms briefly and drain well.
- 6
Add the mushrooms to the skillet and dry sauté. Sprinkle with salt and white pepper, and stir-fry for 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and continue to stir-fry until fragrant and the mushrooms are lightly browned.
- 7
Pour the sauce into the skillet. Stir over medium-low heat until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy. Turn off the heat.
- 8
Arrange the tofu slices on a serving plate. Pour the mushroom sauce over the tofu and sprinkle with sliced scallions. Serve immediately.
- 9
Tip: The longer you cook the sauce, the thicker it will become.
