First was tawa properly. Then heat the tawa on high flame. Cut one onion and help of the knife or fork. Dip the onion in a oil. Then grease the tawa with the help of the onion. Spread it.. Then sprinkle water on tawa again wipe with onion.

Pour spoonful dosa batter. Spread evenly. Cook in a slow flame. Till dosa become golden in colour

Then transfer to a serving plate. Yummy crispy dosa is ready to serve...with coconut chutney
