Ingredients

  1. 1 (28 oz)can san marzano tomatoes
  2. 28 ozwater
  3. 1 tablespoon chicken bullion
  4. 2 clovesgarlic
  5. 1medium onion chopped
  6. 1 teaspoondried basil
  7. 1bay leaf
  8. 1 teaspoonsugar
  9. 1 tablespoonbutter
  10. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  11. salt to taste
  12. 1anchovy

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Chop onions while pot is on medium high

  2. 2

    Add oil, onions, garlic, anchovy and sautee on medium high heat until onions soften

  3. 3

    Add tomatoes, water and chicken bullion and let simmer for 10 minutes

  4. 4

    Use a hand blender or transfer soup into a blender, blend till smooth

  5. 5

    After tomatoes, onions and garlic are blended, add basil, bay leaf, sugar, black pepper, let simmer for 15 minutes

  6. 6

    Add butter and salt to taste
