To make misal, first chop the onions and tomatoes. Take a pressure cooker, add oil, and heat it. Add cumin seeds, then sauté the onions for 1 minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes. Add the spices: turmeric powder, chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the sprouted mung beans and mix thoroughly.

Finally, add salt and water as needed. Add garam masala and mix well. Cover the pressure cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles.

Misal is ready. Serve hot with sev, chopped onions, and pav (soft bread rolls). It tastes delicious.
