Steps

Wash, wipe, peel and cut into big pieces of raw mango.Remove seed.

Heat a pan add oil in it.Add mustard seeds, asafoetida, methi seeds,turmeric powder.

Add mango pieces, salt and chilli powder as per your taste.Mix well and cover.

When mango pieces gets tender add jaggery.Again cover with lid till jaggery melts.
- 5
Boil for two minutes and turn off the gas.Our methi amba is ready to serve.Very tasty, sweet, sour and spicy by taste.
