Steps

Preheat your oven to 180c and line a rectangle foil traybake tin.

In a small bowl add your flour and baking powder, mix and set aside

I'm the bowl of your mixer, cream together your sugar and butter on a medium speed.

Lower your speed and Add your eggs one at a time until combined, it may look like it has split, don't worry!

Add your milk and extract then mix again.

In a large bowl siv your flour and baking powder. then add your wet ingredients to your dry ingredients. Mix with a spatula until combined (don't over mix)

Transfer to your prepared tray And smooth out. Pop into the oven for 25 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool inside the tin for 15 minutes, then remove and let it cool completely on a wire rack. (I like to ice inside the foil tin so I take off the parchment and put it back inside after cooling)

For the icing- add icing sugar to A bowl and Add vanilla extract or lemon then add water slowly whilst mixing until white and thick.

Spread your icing on top of your cake then add sprinkles and chocolate chips for decoration, let it set inside the fridge for an hour.

Slice into squares and serve with custard or ice cream. Enjoy 😍😍
