After living in the United States for a while, I decided to make my recipe for Mexican-style tacos with an American twist.
Steps
- 1
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium-high heat for 15 minutes.
- 2
After 15 minutes, when the beef is browned, add the chili powder, salt, and tomato sauce. Mix well and cook for another 10 minutes over medium heat.
- 3
While the beef finishes cooking, preheat the oven to 250°F to warm the taco shells for 4 minutes.
- 4
Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes and slice the lettuce.
- 5
Once everything is ready, assemble the tacos by layering the cooked beef, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes in the shells. Top with your favorite hot sauce and a dollop of sour cream. Enjoy!
