Peel off the arrow root and cut into pieces then wash using running water

Place in a pressure cooker pot and add 1/4ltr of water and a salt to taste.cover the lid and allow to boil for 30 min

Wash the beef and cut into pieces. place in a sufuria and let it cook for 30 minutes till tender.

When the water is diminished add oil and onions then stir to mix. let it cook for a few minutes and add tomatoes and stir again to mix then cover to simmer or until the tomatoes are soft.

Add a half cup of water to the stew and 1 TBS of salt and stir

Add the fresh corrianda leaves after chopping

Let it cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve hot with the steamed arrow roots
