Goat with rice and beans

Goat meat is such a unique flavor that enhances any meal in my opinion. I just love it! The smell from cooking is just so aromatic 🌹

Steps
- 1
Boil the goat with 1tsp salt 2 cardamom pods for about ten minutes and let simmer 30-45 min turn off and keep in water until it’s cool. When totally cool set aside. Keep the broth from the meat but remove the pods. Reserve 1c of goat broth for later.
- 2
Cook the rice (which I cooked in the goat broth), cook your beans. When both are finished set aside
- 3
Chop up onion, garlic and turmeric and add the fenugreek cook in 1tsp oil until onions are translucent. Add in tomatoes and you should hear it sizzle, add bl and red pepper, 1tsp salt and the beef cubes add a pinch of cumin
- 4
Reduce about halfway and add about 1c of the broth from the goat and reduce again. Add the palm oil or butter and add the goat and turn to low heat add just a little water to your desired consistency. Add salt if needed… enjoy I did 😜
