The classic dish for Eid! Here’s a delicious and simple marinade with just a few ingredients—no fuss. Try it out for amazing results.
Steps
- 1
In a food processor, finely chop the onions and tomatoes. Strain the mixture and keep the onion juice. Save the onion pulp in the freezer to use later for making kofta.
- 2
Pound the beef well and cut it into thin slices so it cooks easily over the fire.
- 3
Add the yogurt, garlic, spices, and vinegar to the onion juice. Mix well, then add the beef slices and coat them thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate overnight. When ready to cook, light the charcoal and arrange the beef slices on the grill. Add slices of onion, hot pepper, and bell pepper to the grill as well.
- 4
Keep turning the meat until it’s cooked through. Serve hot with flatbread and salads.
