Wash throughly urad dal. Soak urad dal for about 6 - 7 hours.

Drain excess water and transfer the urad dal into mixture jar. Add curd and make fine paste. Add salt and asafoetida into better and mix well.

Fry vadas in hot oil. Fry from both the sides. Soak vadas in water for half an hour.

At the time of serving arrange squeeze vadas in the plate. Pour dahi on it. Pour mithi chutney.

Sprinkle salt,red chilli powder and roasted jerra powder.

Garnish with some pomegranate seeds and sev.
