Ingredients

  1. 1 cupquinoa, rinsed and drained
  2. 1/2 cupsplit yellow moong dal (green gram)
  3. 2 cupswater
  4. 1 tablespoonghee or oil
  5. 1small onion, chopped
  6. 1small tomato, chopped
  7. 1/2 cuppalak chopped
  8. 1chopped beetroot
  9. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  10. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  12. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  13. Salt, to taste
  14. Optional: ginger, garlic, and spices as per preference

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat ghee/oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, green chilli, curry leaves, onion, and Saute until softened.
