Stir-Fried Dried Squid with Holy Basil (Pad Krapow Dried Squid)

I got some dried squid from the sea, so I tried making pad krapow with it instead of fresh squid. It turned out pretty well! Just be careful not to make it too salty, since dried squid is already salty. Note: I soaked the dried squid in water for a long time until it became soft, and I also stir-fried it for a while, so the color from the squid came out into the sauce, making it look a bit like fresh squid.

Steps
- 1
Clean the dried squid, soak it in water until soft, then slice into rings. (I soaked it for almost an hour until it was tender.)
- 2
Sauté the garlic and chilies in oil until fragrant. (For better flavor, you can pound the garlic and chilies together instead of slicing.)
- 3
Add the dried squid and stir-fry. Season carefully, as dried squid is already salty.
- 4
Add the holy basil leaves and stir-fry for a bit, then turn off the heat.
- 5
Serve and enjoy.
