Ingredients

30 minutes
1 big glass jar
  1. 1Beetroot pulp
  2. 1 cupRagi Flour
  3. 1/2 cupWhole wheat fine flour
  4. 1 tablespoonChiya seeds
  5. 1 tablespoonflax seeds
  6. 1& 1/2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
  7. 1 tablespoonpaper powder
  8. 1 tablespoonred chilli powder
  9. 1 pinchturmeric
  10. To taste salt
  11. 2 tablespoonsCream
  12. 2 tablespoonsoil
  13. 1 tablespoonChat masala(optional)
  14. Water(as required)
  15. Oil(for frying)

Cooking Instructions

    First, sift wheat flour into a bowl and add ragi flour, flax seeds, white sesame seeds, chia seeds, red chili, turmeric, salt, and pepper powder, then mix well.

    Wash and peel the beetroot, cut it into pieces, and blend it in a mixer jar. Add cream and blend again.

    Now, add the blended beetroot and cream pulp to the flour mixture, along with lukewarm ghee, and mix well. Knead into a dough (add water if needed). Cover and rest for 15 minutes. Grease your hands with oil, knead the dough, and divide it into equal portions.

    Place one portion on a surface, dust with ragi flour, and roll it out. Use a cutter or knife to gently cut out your desired shape (I've cut them into long triangular shapes).

    Now, heat oil in a kadhai and fry the cut shapes in batches until crispy. Remove them on a paper-lined plate and repeat the process for all the shapes. Once fried, sprinkle chat masala and toss well. I served the prepared crackers with a mix of chili sauce and ketchup.

    Store the prepared crackers in an airtight container and enjoy them whenever you want.
