Banana flower masala vada

Take a split peas rinse with water. Soak it with plain water for two hours.

Peel the banana flower,keep aside.Take a mixer jar add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, green chillies, ginger and curry leaves. Grind for a few minutes. Then add the soaked dal, grind well.

Transfer the grind vada mix to a big bowl, then add chopped banana flower, onion, curry leaves,coriander leaves,gram flour,rice flour,ginger and salt. Mix well and make a uniform size of balls. Keep aside.

Keep a kadai on medium heat, add oil. Let it be hot enough,take the readily kept vada mix balls,press with your palm,drop into the hot oil. Let it cook crispy golden colour on both sides. Remove from oil. Banana flower vada is ready.

Transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy the healthy, tasty and crispy banana flower masala vada.
