My mother loves oil less food. So this simple rava idli is her favorite.
Steps

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Add mustard seeds and saute till it splitter. Add chana dal and roast it till pink. Add salt and rava. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Switch off the flame and let it cool.

When cool add curd and water and mix well. Keep it for 15 minutes till rava soaks water and curd. Mix well.

Grease the idli mould and pour 2 tb sp mixture in each mould.
Steam it for 12 minutes.Then after 15 minutes demould idlis. - 4
Wash, peel and chop onion, tomato, ginger. Collect all the ingredients.

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Add urad dal and whole red chilli and saute for 1 minute.
Now add chopped onions and ginger and saute for 2 minutes. - 6
Then add chopped tomatoes and salt and cook till tomato get mashy. Let it cool.

Transfer it in a mixer. Add salt, red chilli powder and grind it to a smooth paste. Transfer it in a bowl.

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Add mustard seeds and when Mustard seeds splutter Add asafoetida and whole red chilli and curry leaves. 👉Pour this tempering on grinded chutney.

Serve with Rava idli.
Tips
While roasting rava don't allow rava to change colour.
