Moong Dal Dhokla

Moong Dal Dhokla

Soak moong dal for 2 hours.

Drain all the water from the soaked moong dal. Add curd, semolina & poha and add little water. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.

Grind into a smooth batter.

Take in a vessel and add turmeric powder and salt. Mix very well.

Add, eno fruit salt and give it a good mix.

Pour the batter into a greased steaming tray. Sprinkle red chilli powder and steam for 15–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let it cool slightly and cut into pieces.

Heat oil, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves, and Hing.

Pour the tadka evenly over the dhokla.
