AA quick dal cooked in some delicious tomatoes and less spices.

PPressure cook the washed dal with e enough amount to Cook the dal. Add a pinch of salt and turmeric and ccurry powder till 3 whistles.

In a pan,sauté the mustard,jeera,curry leaves and hing.

Add the ginger garlic paste and masalas. Mix well. Add the garlic. Saute wrll. Add onions, sauté till brown. Add the garlic powder,cuurry powder,tomato sauce, mix.

Add chopped tomatoes.and stir well. Now add the dal along with its water.

Add the stock cubes,salt and sugar.

Add enough water again. Cook for yet another 10 minutes.

Add the coriander leaves, and ghee on top.

Serve hot with roti or rice!
