Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgbeef
  2. 2 - 3 tablespoonsmasala meat
  3. 1 - 2 tablespoonsgaram masala
  4. 1 teaspoonblack pepper
  5. 1 - 2 teaspoonssalt
  6. optional 1 tablespooncurry powder
  7. 1 tablespooncoriander powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric
  9. 2 tablespoonsbrandy red wine /
  10. 3 - 4 numberspotatoes cubed boiled
  11. 1 - 2 tablespoonsgarlic ginger chopped
  12. 1 numberbayleaf
  13. 1cinnamon stick
  14. 2 - 3 podscardamom
  15. sprigsdil leaves few
  16. 1 sprigcurry leeaves
  17. 3/4 cupwater
  18. 2 - 3 numbersred onion sliced
  19. 2 numberstomatoes chopped
  20. 1/4 cupcoriander leaves
  21. 1 - 2 teaspoonsghee desi

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the cleaned and cubed beef pieces in littke oil with the whole spices,peppr,garam and meat masala all half quantity.

    After a whistle,let fire low and cook on another 15-20 mins till beef done.

  3. 3

    In a kadai,add dalda or vegetable oil,add the ginger garlic chopped. Saute well,add the onions and sauté till translucent.

  4. 4

    Add the curry leaves and dil leaves.

  5. 5

    Add the remaining masalas and mix well. Next add the tomatoes aand pour in the beef stock along with the cooked meat.

  6. 6

    Let it cook on for another 10 mins. Add water if only needed.

  7. 7

    Finally add the cooked potatoes and add a dash if lime if wanted. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves and ghee.

  8. 8

    Serve hot with oven hot bread ior rice!
