Ingredients

  • 1 cupSago washed
  • 2 tbspsoil
  • 1 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
  • 3/4 cuppotato boiled and peeled cubes
  • to tasteRock salt
  • 1/2 cuppeanuts roasted coarsely powdered
  • 2 tbspscoriander finely chopped
  • 2 tspsgreen chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 cupPomegranate seed
  • 2 tspslemon juice
  • 2 tspssugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash sago well and soak it over night with little water. The next day morning, all water should have got absorbed by the sago and it will be soft.

  2. 2

    In a non stick pan, add oil and add jeera and green chillies fry for 1 minutes. Add the cubed potatoes, little salt and fry for a minute.

  3. 3

    Add  sago, salt, sugar and  peanuts stir well. cover it and keep in medium flame for 4- 5 minutes, until transparent and soft add coriander leaves

  4. 4

    Give it a stir and  squeeze the lemon and mix well. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and potato chips. Serve hot.
