Ingredients

  • 1 packetpie crust Pillsbury -
  • 1 cupfrozen mixed vegetables-
  • all purpose flour
  • 2 cupschicken broth -
  • 1 cupchicken boneless pieces cubed-
  • 1/2 tspsalt -
  • 1 tsppepper -
  • 1/2 tsporegano -
  • 1/2 cuponions chopped -
  • 1 tspchopped garlic -
  • 2 cupschicken broth -
  • 2 tbspsbutter -
  • 2 tbspsheavy cream -

Steps

    Make pie crust as directed on the packet into two 9 inch pie plates.

  2. 2

    Preheat oven to 425 deg F.

  3. 3

    Put the frozen veggies in pan of boiling water until soften and keep them drained.

  4. 4

    In another saucepan, heat some butter and saute the garlic and onions well with some salt,oregano and pepper.

  5. 5

    Put all the veggies into this and saute well.

  6. 6

    Now add the small chicken cubes and the flour and chicken broth.Stir continuously.

  7. 7

    Add little milk/ heavy cream when it is mixed well.

  8. 8

    Spoon this filling into the pie plate.

  9. 9

    Cover with the second crust and seal the edges and poke some holes with a fork.

  10. 10

    Decorate according to your taste.

  11. 11

    Bake for 15 mins and then cover the crust edges with a foil paper to prevent excessive heating.

  12. 12

    Then again bake for another 15 mins. Total 30 mins until the crust turns golden brown.

  13. 13

    Serve hot sliced into wedges!!
