Mix the ground beef with the spices, salt, olive oil, and ground rice. Shape into small balls, then broil in the oven until the tops are lightly browned and the meat firms up. Alternatively, you can fry them in oil if you prefer.

Place the meatballs in a pot, add 2 cups of hot water, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Blend the yogurt, egg yolk, and cornstarch in a blender. Pour the mixture into a pot and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil. Add the bouillon cube and salt.

Add the meatballs to the yogurt sauce and cook for another 10 minutes, until the meat and sauce are fully cooked. Garnish with fried pine nuts and serve with white rice with vermicelli.
