Sent husband to the store with a list... He got nothing I asked for, but brought home tons of meat I've got to find recipes for. Here's one.

Add butter onions and garlic to the Crock-Pot. High: 2 - 3 hours. Stir when Browning starts. Keep an eye on it.

Brown sausages on each side. (I used a broiler, flipped when brown) Bake, 350° for 25 mins

Boil potatoes in water. When tender, drain, mash, add milk, butter, salt & pepper.

When onions are brown, add flour. Add broth slowly, working out lumps. Add sausages. Bring to a boil, about 1 hour.
