  • 1 kgfresh arrow roots
  • 1tablespoonful of salt

  1. 1

    Peel the fresh arrow roots and slice them to smaller pieces

  2. 2

    Place on a pan with water add salt and heat gently, cover to make use of steam

  3. 3

    After 45 minutes and when the nduma is tender and can be easily be poked stop cooking and get rid of excess water.
