I like these morning snacks as they use very little oil and are quick to fix. One can alter the recipe to add fruits, spices etc. They are just lovely!!

I like these morning snacks as they use very little oil and are quick to fix. One can alter the recipe to add fruits, spices etc. They are just lovely!!
Steps

Mix all ingredients together to form a batter of dropping consistency

One can use fresh milk and vinegar or lemon juice if buttermilk is unavailable.

Heat pan moderately

Scoop batter using a spoon into the pan. you can cook 3 at a go

Leave to cook till small holes form on the upper side
- 6
Turn and allow the other side to cook

Sprinkle honey, icing sugar, blueberries or jam and serve as you wish.
