Steps

Combine salt, pepper, tumerick and cumin, set aside.

In large skillet heat oil over medium heat, add carrots, cover & cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add spice mixture, stir well.

Add onions, cover & cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Lower heat to simmer

Add potatoes, stir, cover & cook 25 minutes stirring occasionally.

Stir, then add cabbage on top. Cover and cook 20 minutes stirring every 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve or allow to cool (covered) and refrigerate.
