Sausage upside down corn bread

My mom used to love this recipe and would want me to make it for her from time to time. It's been three years since she passed and I haven't made it since until now.

Ingredients

1 poundbulk sausage (I use jimmy dean)
1 cupchopped onions
1/3 cupchopped green pepper
2 Tablespoonsflour
1 (6 oz.)can tomatoe paste
1 t.Salt
1 t.Chilli powder
1/8 t.Pepper
4 oz.Cheddar cheese cut into 1-2 inch cubes
1/2 c.Sliced pitted ripe olives
2-8 oz.Packages of jiffy corn muffin mix

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook sausage onions and peppers in a skillet until sausage is brown and crumbly. Stir in flour. Mix in next 4 ingredients. Remove from heat, stir in cheese and olives. Spread evenly in a 9 inch square pan. Mix muffin mix according to package directions spread over sausage mixture, let bake 35-40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Loosen sides and invert on plate. Enjoy
