Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 cupDalia/broken wheat
  • 1/2 cupPoha (flattened rice,)
  • 4 tspSuji
  • 1/2 cupCabbage shredded
  • 1/2 cupCarrot shredded
  • 1/2Beetroot shredded
  • 1Onion chopped
  • 4-5 tspRoasted crushed peanuts
  • 2 tspCoriander
  • 2Green chilies
  • Lemon juice 1 /mango powder 1 tsp
  • 1 tspChat masala
  • Red pepper as per taste
  • Salt as per taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Roast Dalia in Kadhai until light brown.

  2. 2

    Soak Dalia in warm water for 3-4 hours. Dalia & water should be in equal proportion.

  3. 3

    Wash poha on water. Remove excess water.

  4. 4

    Mix all ingredients in a bowl including Dalia & poha.

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Make small balls.

    Heat appe pan on gas. Place balls in each section.

    Cover the lid & cook it until golden brown on slow flame.

    Flip it & cook it on another side until golden brown.

  10. 10

    Dalia veggies balls are ready to serve.

    Tip: cook these healthy balls on low flame.
