Ingredients

  1. 500 gmPalak (Spinach)
  2. 1 cupgreen peas
  3. 1 1/2 cup Paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
  4. 1medium onion chopped
  5. 1 tsprefined oil
  6. 1 tea spoonred chili powder
  7. 1/2 tea spoonturmeric powder
  8. 1 tea spoonMaggi masala
  9. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  10. 1 cuptomato puree
  11. to tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the palak for 5 minutes and make a fine paste in blender or mixer.

  2. 2

    Heat the oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, when they crackle add chopped onions and cook till pink in color.

  3. 3

    Add all the spices and mix, add tomato puree and mix well and cook till the oil gets separated from the puree.

  4. 4

    Add the palak puree and green peas. Cook till the peas are soft, add paneer and cook for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot with chapatis or paranthas.
