Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1/2 lbground beef (about 250 grams)
  • 1/2 lbground pork (about 250 grams)
  • 1/2onion, finely chopped
  • 3 clovesgarlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoonground cumin
  • 3tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped
  • 3 cupscooked black beans
  • 1 cupbean cooking liquid
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped serrano chili to taste
  • 3 tablespoonsvegetable oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the two types of meat, season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

  2. 2

    In a large hot skillet, add the oil and sauté the onion until it becomes translucent, then add the garlic. When they are lightly browned, add the meat and fry well.

  3. 3

    Once the meat is browned, add the tomatoes and cumin and let it cook for about 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the beans and chili. Let it simmer on low heat for a few more minutes.

  5. 5

    Enjoy your meal.
