Ingredients

5 mins
6 servings
  • 12-4 pound pork roast or beef roast
  • 1onion
  • 1 jarof mild/med/hot salsa (salsa verde works perfect also)
  • 1Salt and pepper is optional. Be careful if u add salt as the salsa contains plenty already!
  • 1Chopped bell peppers is also optional

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop onion and place in the slow cooker

  2. 2

    Add meat

  3. 3

    Pour salsa over the meat, cover with lid and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

  4. 4

    Shred and enjoy on tacos, burritos, salads, burgers etc.

  5. 5

    If u have leftovers, use in enchiladas!
