I love the simplicity of maine food. It runs deep into my veins to know what something hidden in the depths of woods could make a world of difference in a meal. I couldn't ask for a better lifestyle to grow up on.

I love the simplicity of maine food. It runs deep into my veins to know what something hidden in the depths of woods could make a world of difference in a meal. I couldn't ask for a better lifestyle to grow up on.

Get a pot of salted water boil. Add fiddleheads in it(blanch) remove once they turn bright green..

In a large sautée skillet, melt salted butter, chopped up the large onion in to chunks. Cook down.

Add fiddleheads to skillet with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Cook for 8 minutes and remove from heat.

Ta-da! A little taste of heaven off too the right. I hope you enjoy a simple maine dish and incorporate into your life!
