Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 8idli pieces
  2. 2boiled potato
  3. 2 tablespooncurd
  4. 2 tablespoonTamarind chutney
  5. 2 tablespoonmint chutney
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. to tasteRed chilli powder
  8. 1 spoonChat masala
  9. Oil as required
  10. 3 tablespoonsev
  11. 1/2 teaspoonSugar
  12. 1Tomato roughly chopped
  13. 1Onion roughly chopped
  14. 1 tablespooncoriander leaves for garnish
  15. 2Green chopped chilli

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut idlis into small pieces, heat oil in a pan and fry the idlis until they become crisp and golden brown in colour. Keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Cut the boiled potato and fry them in the pan until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Mix the fried potato and idlis in a serving platter. Add curd with little sugar. Add tomato, onion and green chilli.

  4. 4

    Add chilli powder, salt, chat masala, imli chutney and mint coriander chutney.

  5. 5

    Garnish with coriander leaves and sev.

  6. 6

    Yummiest 'Idli Chaat' is now ready. Serve it for snacks and enjoy !!
