Ingredients

  1. 1 cupAll purpose flour
  2. 1/2 tspBaking soda
  3. 1/4 tspGround nutmeg (optional)
  4. 1 tspSalt
  5. 1/2 cupButter or margarine
  6. 1 cupPacked brown sugar
  7. 1/2 cupGranulated white sugar
  8. 1 largeEgg
  9. 1/2 cupSour cream
  10. 1 tspVanilla extract
  11. 3 cupRolled oats
  12. 1 cupRaisins or chocolate chips

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Combine the flour, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt in a small bowl and set aside.

    In a large bowl cream together butter or margarine, and both types of sugar.

    Add in the egg and sour cream. Beat together. Add in the vanilla extract. Beat in.

    Gradually beat in the dry ingredients, oats, and raisins.

    Spoon into a greased baking sheet. Let bake until golden brown for 10-12 minutes.

    Let cool for 10 minutes and enjoy.
