Put onion rings into sealable bags you may need two,cover with buttrer milk and refrigerate over night.

In a large bowl whisk together flour,cornstarch, salt and baking soda.

In another bowl whisk together the 2 eggs and beer then whisk this mixture into the flour mixture until thoroughly mixed.

Drain the onions from the buttermilk, then place a handfull into batter to coat thoroughly.

Heat the oil in deep fryer to around 350 Fahrenheit, then remove onion rings one at a time to drain off excess batter and place 6-8 in fryer don't over crowd.repeat batter procedure,and frying procedures until all onions are cooked.

Cook 3-5 minutes until golden brown, transfer to tray lined with paper towels to drain off oil,keep warm while cooking the rest of the onions.

When all cooked sprinkle with salt and enjoy...
