Ingredients

  1. 250 gmwheat flour
  2. 300 gmmelted desi ghee
  3. 250 gmpowdered sugar. Preferably bhura chini
  4. 4-5 tbspmilk cold
  5. Seeds of green cardamoms crushed into powder
  6. A fewsliced pistas to garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt ghee in a heavy bottom pan.

  2. 2

    Add atta & cook for 12-15 minutes on low flame, stir continuously, till medium brown in colour. When aroma exudes & the flour is properly browned take off the heat.

  3. 3

    Immediately spread in a tray. Cool till it comes to room temperature. Sprinkle cardamom and add sugar. Mix well

  4. 4

    Sprinkle milk and mix well again to get a mixture that binds well.

  5. 5

    Form tight fist (mutthi) shaped pinnies. This is done by taking some mixture and pressing it in the fist. Garnish with pista
