Mathura ke pede is a popular sweet of North India. It is made in many ways. It is so easy to make & tasty too. Normally people made it with white sugar powder but I have made it in light brown sugar.

Mathura ke pede is a popular sweet of North India. It is made in many ways. It is so easy to make & tasty too. Normally people made it with white sugar powder but I have made it in light brown sugar.
Steps

Heat Kadhai. Saute khoya until light brown and leaves Ghee. Then add ghee or milk. Saute again until milk or ghee mix well. Switch off gas. Let it cool down.

Then add ellaychi powder in 150 gm sugar. Keep 50 gm sugar aside for pede rolling.

Add sugar & ellaychi mixture in khoya. Mix well.

Make lemon size balls & flatten in the form of peda.

Roll these peda in sugar powder.

Mathura ke pede is ready. Keep it in fridge for 1 hour before serving.
